Highlights
Key Advantages
- Rotary free-fall design eliminates jamming and ensures needles drop cleanly every time.
- Face recognition restricts access to authorized operators, so every transaction is logged.
- HD vision module spots broken, bent, or worn needles during return, no manual sorting needed.
- Waste needle compartment counts and logs every discarded needle for later audit.
- Excel export gives you a full history of needle movements across shifts and operators.
- Industrial touch screen works with gloves on and handles dusty sewing floor conditions.

Details
Detailed Description
Intelligent Needle Management System realizes full‑process smart control for needle procurement, issuance, usage and recovery in garment workshops. It adopts rotary free‑fall needle dispensing without external force interference, ensuring safe needle distribution and collection and avoiding quality risks caused by lost broken needles.
Equipped with industrial touch screen, it supports face recognition and user permission management. Built‑in high‑definition vision module identifies broken & waste needles. Independent waste‑needle recycling compartment automatically logs issuance and return records, with exportable Excel reports for traceability.
Widely used in garment, jeans and cotton‑wear factories, it solves pain points of messy needle management and broken‑needle control, helping build smart sewing workshops.
FAQ
FAQ
What happens if a needle breaks inside the garment?
The Q-912 can't fix a needle already in a garment, but it prevents that situation. Broken needles are caught at the return step: the HD camera checks every needle for cracks, bends, or missing tips before it's accepted back. If a broken needle is detected, it goes straight to the locked waste bin and the operator's ID is recorded. That way you know who returned it and when, so you can trace the issue back to the specific sewing station.
Does the system work with all needle sizes?
It handles common industrial sewing needle sizes from 60 to 110 (metric). The rotary free-fall mechanism doesn't grip the needle, so there's no adjustment needed for different diameters or lengths. If you use special needle types, tell us the specifications and we can confirm compatibility before you order.
How many operators can be registered for face recognition?
Up to 500 operators. Permissions can be set per user: some can only take needles, others can take and return, and supervisors can access the settings and export data. Registration takes about 30 seconds per person, and the system works with glasses, masks, and different lighting conditions.
Can I connect the Q-912 to our factory network?
Yes, it has Ethernet and USB ports. Optional Wi-Fi is available. The system can send data to your local server or export files manually. We don't offer cloud integration by default, but the CSV/Excel exports can be imported into most ERP or MES systems.
What about maintenance? How often does it need calibration?
The camera and touch screen need a quick wipe down weekly. The rotary dispensing plate should be cleaned monthly to remove dust and thread lint. No mechanical calibration is required. We recommend an annual check of the sensor alignment, which our technician can do remotely or on-site.
What's the warranty and after-sales support?
One year warranty on parts and labor. After that, we offer paid service contracts or per-incident support. We have local distributors in most garment-producing countries, and we can ship spare parts within 48 hours from our regional warehouses.
