How does Q-912 prevent broken needle fragments from ending up in finished garments?
It's a combination of the dispenser and the return check. The free-fall dispenser doesn't stress the needle, so it goes out intact. When the needle comes back, the camera examines it. If it's broken or damaged, the system tells the operator to put it in the separate waste bin, not the regular return slot. And every step is logged, so if there's ever a question, you can pull the record and see exactly what happened.
Can I set different permissions for different workers?
Yes. Each worker enrolls their face once, and then you assign roles: operator, supervisor, admin. Operators can check needles in and out; supervisors can override or release stuck transactions; admins can manage users, export data, and change settings. No more sharing a password or swiping someone else's card.
What format is the exported data, and can it work with our ERP?
It exports to Excel (.xlsx) or CSV, which pretty much any system can read. Each record includes timestamp, user, action, and needle condition. If you need to push it into an ERP or MES, we can work with your IT team to set up an automatic transfer, but most factories just grab the file weekly or monthly for audit.
How long does installation take, and what do we need to prepare?
Typically half a day. You need a power outlet and, if you want data upload, a network connection (wired or WiFi). Our tech will come or guide you remotely, and we train your key people on the spot. No special tools or structural changes needed—it's a standalone cabinet.
What if the power goes out or the system fails? Can we still get needles?
There's a manual override. A mechanical key opens a backup needle compartment, so production doesn't stop. If it's a system fault, we respond within 24 hours for remote diagnosis, and if needed, we ship replacement parts or a technician. The manual override keeps you running until it's fixed.
What's the lead time and warranty?
Standard lead time is 15–20 working days for single units; larger orders can be negotiated. Warranty is one year on the whole system, two years on the vision module and dispensing mechanism. We also offer a lifetime service agreement with regular maintenance and software updates.
