What drawstring materials does it take?
We run cotton, polyester, elastic, and those braided cords on it all day. As long as the cord diameter is between 2 and 6 mm and it's not super slippery, it works. If you have something unusual, send us a sample.
How fast does it thread?
Cycle time is about 4-6 seconds per garment depending on cord length and operator speed. In an 8-hour shift, one machine can do what 3-4 people do manually.
Does it work with both eyelets and button-holes?
Yes. The machine is set up to handle both. You just choose the mode on the touch screen. No hardware change needed.
How do you change from one cord length to another?
On the touch screen, you select the length preset. The machine adjusts automatically. It stores up to 20 presets. If you're changing cord type or eyelet size, the operator might need a minute to swap the threading tip, but that's rare.
What's the training time for an operator?
About half a day. Load garment, press pedal, unload garment. The screen is intuitive. Most operators are comfortable by lunchtime.
